This sisal, woven bread basket is handmade by female artisans of the Duharanire Kwigara cooperative in Rwanda. The handwoven baskets come with a string attached at the top in case you would like to use it as wall decoration. The women hand-dye and weave different types of natural fibres into these beautiful African baskets. Sisal is woven around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle sweetness. Each piece is unique, colours and shapes may slightly vary.
